Slow down the tempo and deepen the breath- this class is all about expansion into the lunar side of yoga asana. Sequences will be based on the various forms of Chandra and Bidala Namaskar (the cat and moon salutations) with the intent of generating cooling energy and reaching deeper into the connective tissues of the body. Poses will be held for longer periods of time and a variety of breath practices will be offered to assist students in the process of making space and releasing chronic holding patterns in the body. This moving meditation class is welcome to all levels and is a great way to wind down the day.

Yoga Flow: Experience the union of body, mind, and spirit through strengthening and stretching, igniting your energy through connection with breath and movement. Through incorporating fluid movements of vinyasa flow yoga and using the inner fire of your core to energize and power your body, this class will help you to dive deep into your practice, and connect with Self. This is an energetic class, yoga experience is recommended, although all levels are welcome. Yoga Flow helps students connect with their true essence and build confidence in their yoga practice and abilities. We will end the class letting our energy cool, experiencing feelings of rejuvenation and peace of mind.

Friday nights can be busy, so let us help you get some active yoga in. This 45 minute class goes from slow to fast vinyasa in order to get your heart rate up and allow you to leave feeling invigorated. This is fun vinyasa flow for improving and maintaining flexibility and strength. The focus is core and limb strength and injury prevention. From the wrists to the shoulders , back, legs, hip openers to the toes, this class tunes in power and recovery.  We get the heart rate going with a combination of postures to stimulate the metabolism, reduce stress and power up the body. Asana stretches, crunches, balance, inversions all happen as we prepare and experience some yoga heat and then restorative chill into the weekend.

Every body is different, therefore finding proper alignment in poses may also be different in each individual. With this concept in mind, our Align and Open class allows you to practice in a way that feels best for your body. Offering many modifications and props this class will explore both gentle and more active seated and standing postures in a very doable way.  With the practice of supported gentle back bends, twists, and some restorative poses we also allow the body to open and release tension accumulated from the demands of normal daily life. This is a great class for beginners and is open to all levels.
